DAVID BOSART/1973/HOT CHAPARRAL/BEEVILLE, TX GOOD NEW! The Hot Chaparral Motocross track has reopened for practice. I got a chance to ride on it again (30 years after this photo was taken) and it was like old home week. It was in fine shape with a new step up into the sand that took a lot of gas and your eyes closed to make it. The Mitchell's plan to have practice every 2nd Sunday of the month. Hope to see you all there! Call 210-696-3819 or 361-358-5134 for more imfo. |

BOSART'S 1920 MODEL T SPEEDSTER The dirt track racer that you would build out of a Model T Ford back in the '20's. Four cylinder flat head engine that pumps out a wopping 20 hp with 6 speeds forward and 3 to the rear. Top speed was 52mph (before I let off) but it's a blast to drive on the back roads or an the track. |
