SAFETY RECALL NOTICE/WARN WINCH FIRE HAZARD!

Warn Industries is conducting a voluntarty safety recall of 2,000 lb. ATV Warn Winch Kits that were sold from approximately November 1, 2000 through May 31, 2001. An electrical component of the winch kit, a "White-Rodgers" solenoid poses a fire hazard. This compnent has been involved in at least 14 incidents of fire. These fires have occurred when the ATVs were parked and the winches were not being used. The fires have resulted in loss or damage to the ATV and in some cases adjacent vehicles or surrounding structures have caught fire.
